A good news for all bloggers using ‘Blogger’ platform. Google’s “Blogger in Draft” now enables OpenID-based commenting in blogs. This feature allows anyone with an OpenID account to comment on a Blogger in Draft service blog. This feature is in testing stage and Google is collecting user feedback for providing it on the main Blogger site.

The Official blog for Blogger in Draft says:
This feature is in Draft because we’d like to hear feedback about the implementation, and to test it further before moving it to Blogger’s main site. We’re also working on functionality to let Blogger’s URLs (both Blog*Spot and custom domains) be used for commenting elsewhere on the web.

Many top bloggers and SEO experts believes that commenting on others blog is an important strategy for a blogger. I am also agree with this. Without comments, a blog is not a blog. Comments helps bloggers to interact with the blog readers. Comments encourages the bloggers to improve their blogs. So, most of the bloggers welcomes comments. And, as a blogger, you must take part in commenting on other blogs.
Personally, I love to read blogs and leave comments. And most of the bloggers gives a reply to my comments. It makes me happy and encourages to visit that blog again. Strangely, some bloggers don’t allow commenting on their blogs. Can you believe this? I used to avoid such blogs.
As a blogger, we must allow comments on our blogs. It helps in retaining our blog readers. And their comments encourages us to blog. Similarly, commenting on others blog is also important. So, try to visit and read some selected blogs, regularly. Treat them as a part of your community and contribute to them through your comments. You boost others morale, other boosts yours. Or vice versa! Am I right?
Why comments on others blog is important?
-
Comments draws attention of the blogger. Most of the bloggers regularly read the comments on their blogs. Your comment may earn you a visit from that blogger. Who knows, it may be the start of a new relationship?
-
Commenting may help you in attracting some blog readers. If your comment is good, some readers may give you a visit. It may send you some blog traffic. Also, you may expect some new blog subscribers, if your blog content is really good and appealing.
-
Comments may help you in creating some backlinks to your blog. In future, some bloggers may link to your good posts. This is also important for blog traffic.
Points to remember during commenting on Blogs:
- Read the blog post properly before commenting. Never leave an irrelevant comment.
- Give comments with a couple of words! One or two word comment is not a comment.
- Take care about adding value to your comment. Try to relate your comment to the blog post.
- Use your blog url in the comment form and give a vaild e-mail id. Sometimes, the bloggers may want to contact you!
- Avoind using your blog url at the end of each and every comment. Because blog url on the comment form is sufficient.
- Avoid repeated commenting on the same blog post. You can take part in a comment thread. But twice/thrice is enough!
- Commenting on related blogs is always fruitful! Try to comment on blogs or blog posts, that are realted to your niche.
Feel free to give your feedback on my posts. EarnBlogger needs your comments for improvement.

Need some good quality images to decorate your blog posts? Wait for some days, and you will be able to use a great service! Stock photography company Corbis and its digital rights partner, PicScout, will allow bloggers to access photos via a Web link from the site PicApp.com. Bloggers can use their images for free in exchange for showing some advertising embedded into the photos.
Reuters reports that photos will either include an ad overlay on part of the image, or embedded advertising that pops up when a Web user runs a cursor over the picture. PicApp will also offers bloggers the opportunity to earn ad revenue based on how many times Web users click on the images posted to their blogs. PicApp is still in Beta

“We work with a partner so that those pictures are tracked, and if they’re being used illegally, we can figure that out. But as long as they are downloaded through this application, you’re legit and you’re ready to go,” Corbis Chief Executive Gary Shenk told the Reuters.
Corbis is a privately held company, founded by Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates in 1989. Corbis also has an online market for user-generated photos at SnapVillage.com. So a big opportunity is coming for bloggers. Use good quality images for free, on your blogs and earn some extra ad revenue!
