Now with the help of ShareThis, you can post anything and everything you find on the web to your MySpace page. Even you can send any web content as a bulletin to everyone in your MySpace network. This update will definitely help the MySpace users.

New Features of ShareThis:

  • Allows ShareThis users to post to their MySpace page or send as a bulletin.
  • New Text Clipping enables users to insert text directly in the message field by highlighting and clicking the ShareThis button.
  • Dynamic Widget Sizing will automatically resize the ShareThis widget based on the amount of social web services.
  • Relative Widget Positioning locates the ShareThis widget directly underneath the button link rather than off to the right.

ShareThis has also made some other changes and bug fixes to their widgets and plugins. Now the rotating icons for the button link are operational for Blogger and TypePad platforms. Good news for all users of Blogger. According to the Blogger in Draft blog, Blogger is now testing a cool new feature that will enable you to write scheduled blog posts. With the help of this feature, you can write a blog post now and have it automatically published at some time in the future. Scheduled blog post is one of the important features of the popular WordPress blogging platform. It helps you to maintain the regular update of your blog by managing your time.

Scheduled Posts in Blogger

Writing scheduled posts is very simple. Just follow these simple steps:

  • Write your blog post in the post editor.
  • Click the “Post Options” button below the post editor. It will reveal the Date and Time fields.
  • Enter a post date and time that is in the future.
  • Then click the “Publish” button. Now your post will become “scheduled.”
  • When the date and time of the post arrive, your post will be automatically published to your blog.

All your scheduled posts will appear in your Edit Posts list, alongside your drafts and published posts. To un-schedule a post, simply save it as a draft any time before it gets published.

What scheduled posts can do for you? Imagine you are going to a remote area for a long vacation. How you are going to continue posting to your blog? Simply write some scheduled posts before you start your journey and gift your readers regular blog updates!

Right now, this scheduled posts feature is not available in the common Blogger platform. You can use it when you are logged in to Blogger in Draft.

World’s First Underwater Car

Written by EarnBlogger on February 22, 2008.

Thirty years after the release of James Bond movie “The Spy Who Loved Me”, someone has finally experienced the under water car driving! Swiss design company Rinspeed has created ‘sQuba’, the world’s first real submersible car. The sQuba is based on the Lotus Elise and works fine both on roads and under water! With this all-electric convertible car, you can drive to the lake in style and then dive underwater to a depth of over 30 feet.

In sQuba, Elisa’s engine was removed and replaced by three motors — one for land driving, good for up to 75 mph, and two others for the underwater propellers. The power is supplied by rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries.

This zero emission vehicle can transport a driver and a passenger in its open cockpit. The open cockpit design is intended to allow the occupants to escape easily in case of emergency. When underwater, the occupants breathe air carried in the vehicle through scuba-style rebreathers. Without occupants, the sQuba will surface automatically.

The functioning prototype of sQuba cost more than $1.5 million to build. Well, at present Rinspeed has no plans to start production of sQuba. Want to take a glimpse of sQuba? Go to the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, where sQuba will have it’s world debut or watch the video!
