This plugin adds two new features to the default WordPress comments manager - ability to reply to comments from within Wordpress Admin panel and ability to view all comments based by posts. So, you can call it as an extension of the default WordPress comments manager.

How this plugin works? Basically it adds two new links after every comments in your default comment manager. The two new links are - ‘Reply and ‘View All’. Clicking on reply links takes you to a page where you can reply to the comment. Just write your reply for the comment and click on ‘Reply to Comment’. That’s it! Your comment will now appear on the post and you didn’t even have to visit the individual post to reply to the comment. The ‘View All’ link simply lets you to view all the comments based on a particular post.

Installation of Better Comments Manager:

  • Download the plugin.
  • Unzip and upload the “better-comments-manager” folder into your ‘wp-content/plugins’ folder.
  • Activate the plugin from the ‘Plugins’ tab of your Admin Panel.
  • You will see a new tab called ‘Better Comments Manager’, under the ‘Comments’ tab of your Wordpress dashboard.
  • That’s it! Start replying to comments without visiting the individual posts!
