The ‘Ad Management feature’ in Google AdSense is improving day by day! This feature enables AdSense publishers to manage their ad units right from the publisher’s account. Responding to users feedback, Google AdSense now added a ‘Hide’ function in the Manage Ads section. Also, from now on, you can now, you can view the custom channel ID numbers associated with other AdSense products (e.g. AdSense for search and referrals).
With the help of ‘Hide’ function, now you can avoid displaying ad units that you prefer not to see on the Manage Ads section. It is helpful, when you have created lots of ad units and you don’t want to manage all! To use it, just click the ‘Hide’ link associated with your specific ad unit(s) in the Actions column, and the ad will no longer appear when you view your Manage Ads page.
Enabling the ‘Hide’ function doesn’t delete any ad units. They simply disappears from your Manage Ads page and will continue serving ad impressions on your pages. So, it won’t prevent you from generating ad revenue. Use this function, you want to keep your Manage Ads section clean! You can view your hidden ad units at any time by checking the box that says ‘Show hidden AdSense units’.
