This is the most common and widely appreciated method to earn some money from your blog. Advertising programs may provide you a good income if used properly. They comes in many forms like Contextual ads, CPC ads, Impression based ads, Text ads, and RSS ads.

Google AdSense is the top player in Contextual advertising. YPN from Yahoo is also becoming popular now. Then, Chitika eMiniMalls in CPC ads and TLA in Text ads are popular. Some other ad networks: Azoogle Ads, DoubleClick, Tribal Fusion, Adbrite, Clicksor, BidVertiser, etc. (for example only, there are lots of ad companies)

2. Earn Money from Affiliate Commissions:

Affiliate marketing is one of the most powerful tools in Internet marketing. In simple words it is a method of promoting a product or business through a number of affiliates. Here, affiliates are rewarded for every sale, customer, subscriber or even every visitor. As an affiliate, you can use your blog to promote variuous products and services.
