Normally meta tags are automatically generated in blogs. But you can also add custom meta description and keywords with the help of a plugin like the “All in One SEO Pack” for WordPress.
  6. Always add alt attributes to images. Alt tags tells search engines what is there in the image. With the use of proper alt tags one can easily get good rankings in image search results of various search engine. So, don’t forget your images and add proper alt description tags to images that you include with your blog articles.

Great points. I also agree that traffic from Entrecard just doesn’t cut it. I’m not even a member anymore because of my inactivity– it was deleted by the staff, along with a lot (thousands?) of points. I didn’t get a chance to spend it yet. Which means I’d gotten basically nothing out of my membership.
Also, writing your own description for your blog posts as opposed to letting the search engine determine an excerpt from your post helps.
I think I’ll start adding alt tags to my images now.

Thanks for sharing! See you around. :)

I have been curious, when they pay you for blogging, how do they pay you? By check, Western Union/ pay/pal. And what are the normal going rates that they pay on average. Has anyone ever made a $1,000.00 on a certain blog site, let’s say, for instance. Because it sounds very interesting; to be paid for very few words, such as what normally goes into blogs…..

thanks and take care for now, bye

thanks. I learn something from your post.

  5. Backlinks with related anchor text is the way to get a high first page position, unfortunately. For all our worry about google and it’s image of seeing everything, the truth is that with the right backlinks you will be on page number one. Even with duplicate content, unless there are a lot of sites with the exact same article, the links will put you up there.
