Improved AdSense Ad Management

Written by EarnBlogger on December 12, 2007 Posted in: AdSense, Advertising

Google AdSense updated the new ad management feature for AdSense Publishers. They made some cool changes to help the publishers. Most of these features were requested by AdSense publishers. Now, you can easily manage your ad codes and custom channels. Google also hopes to add the ad management feature to referral units. Soon, you will be able to use it!

What’s new in AdSense Manage Ads?

  • Any publisher can now view the ID number associated with a specific custom channel by visiting the ‘Channels’ link under the ‘AdSense Setup’ tab.
  • Any ad units generated within the last 7 days that haven’t yet received any impressions will be listed as ‘New’, rather than ‘Active’. This will help AdSense publishers to avoid confusion about your newest ad units and those already appearing on web pages.
  • Publishers can now view the most recent date when each of their ad units were updated.
  • Manage ads feature is coming for referral units also.
