The plugin generates a static image every time a comment is left or the admin moderates one. If for some reason your server fails to generate a static image, the plugin falls back to generating the badge on the fly. It ensures that you always have something to show on your blog!

This plugins will be good if you have over 100 comments I feel. Will indeed encourage readers to comment. Putting the top commentator widget will help in getting more comments too.
