Rummble is a new location based mobile social discovery and networking tool. It enables users to discover and share location based reviews, photos, videos and blogs. Rummble helps users to find recommended content for a location more easily, without a traditional keyword search. It uses a special algorithm to give you the best personalized results based on a trust profile it builds for you and the content in your social network.

Rummble is a free service and it has both WAP and JAVA versions. It means that you can use it on your mobile or on the web. You can use Rummble from your mobile and instant message other users, including your friends on other networks. MMS picture messaging will soon be added to their service. From your account page you can do various activities like update your location, search Rummbles, invite friends, message friends etc. You can also import your friends list from Microsoft Outlook or any other popular email client. It also comes with a gallery page that shows the photos uploaded by you and your friends.

You can use Rummble to:

  • Discover content for any location like bars, interesting & secret places etc.
  • Alert friends about your visit to their area.
  • Make new friends and meet new people nearby your area.
  • Share reviews, photos, videos and blogs that are related to places, venues and events etc.
  • Publish your Rummbles and your location to Facebook and other social networks.

Rummble is based in Cambridge, England. It has been in closed Beta since September 2007. Then in April 2008 it went into limited open Beta. Rummble allows it’s members to create personal profile pages.
