This free plugin provides an easiest way for your visitors to share your site content to various social bookmarking sites, or send a link via e-mail & other communication channels (like Facebook and MySpace) to a friend. This plugin adds a ShareThis button on your blog pages. You can see it on my pages!

Presently ShareThis plugin is in version 2.0 and supports WordPress 1.5 to 2.3.1. You will also get free tracking service for your button.

How to use this Plugin?

  • Download the plugin from here.
  • Unzip and upload the ‘ShareThis’ folder to your ‘wp-content/plugins‘ directory.
  • Activate the lugin from your WordPress Admin Panel.
  • Configure your ShareThis button widget using the Customizing tool in ShareThis.
  • Copy the generated ShareThis widget javascript code.
  • Go back to your Admin Panel and open the ShareThis tab in ‘Options‘.
  • Paste your javascript code in the box provided and click the update button.
  • Your blog is ready for your visitors!
