Sponsored Definition on Twitter

Written by EarnBlogger

It seems like Twitter is experimenting link ads on it’s pages. Today I noticed a sponsored link on the sidebar of my Twitter home page. Take a look at the my screenshot. The link was for an iPhone application named Exec-Tweets and it appeared on the sidebar location where normally definitions of Twitter apps are shown. Well, in this case it clearly mentioned as a “Sponsored Definition”.

So, what you think about the “Sponsored Definition”? Was it a temporary thing or Twitter was testing it’s new advertising model? In my view, the location is perfect for link ads and no one should complain about it.

I also noticed another “Sponsored Definition” for Cin·e·ma Tweets, which Twitter defines as a site that tells what’s happening now in the world of movies. Actually, the target link is an advertisement itself for Bruno. Now I am sure, “Sponsored definitions” on Twitter is not a temporary thing.
