Want to try your hands on template design? Use templatr, a free Template Generator, with which you can create cool design or theme for your Blog. You need no knowledge of HTML or PHP. All you need is a good browser and a little bit of creativity. Like the WordPress Theme Generator, you can easily download your completed template with a simple click.

The templatr is an online generator. When you open it in a browser, it shows two distinct sections. The sections on the left hand side shows you the steps, necessary for the creation of the Template. And the section on right displays the template. preview also appears on this section.

The first section decides the template Layout. There are some with “side bar” and extra bar”, and there are some which only have the “side bar”. You can change the Layout with the arrows, and if you click on to the Design, your selected Layout will be used in the pre view and on your Template. You can switch between the Layouts, at any time.

In section two you can add background Pictures and Logos to your Template. The pictures can be added to the selected elements later in the “Designer”. You can add pictures in the following formats: GIF, JPG and BMP.

In section three, you can decide on the look of the separate page elements. You can select the elements with the selection boxes which are located over the preview, or you can just click onto the element you want in the preview.

Once satisfied with your design, use the fourth section on left to download it! You can download English (default), German, Spanish, French, Italian or Chinese version of your design.
