WidgetBucks is trying to improve their service through involvement of customers. The official WidgetBucks blog announced that they have formed a council of customers that are serving as a sounding-board for new developments. They call it WidgetBucks Customer Council (WBCC). It includes 10-15 hand-picked and undisclosed customers. This council will preview the upcoming features and widgets. They will provide feedback for future developments.
Sounds interesting. We hope that it will help the WidgetBucks guys to take their network to the next level. The blog also gave some hints about the new features and technology being tested by the WBCC. Among them the YieldSense(TM) sounds innovative!
YieldSense(TM), a contextual, pay-per-click (PPC) ad widget that displays the highest yielding product categories and ad creative based on a revenue score that is automatically generated from past performance.
For your information, WidgetBucks is discontinuing the $25 sign-up bonus on new accounts from this month. So, they have requested the publishers not to refer the $25 bonus in custom links. Also, they have changed the referral structure for new accounts. It is now 5 percent only.
According to the blog, WidgetBucks is going to introduce PayPal as the required payment method for new accounts outside the U.S. and Canada. We think that this is a good decision. PayPal is far better than checks. However the existing publishers from outside the U.S. and Canada can still receive checks via mail.
So lots of things are going on. We hope that this year will bring more and more income for you and your blog! Happy Earning.
